Terms of Use & Refund Policy

These terms form an end-user license agreement ("Agreement") between you and SELLER_NAME ("we", "us"), the developer and seller of the PanelSharp browser extension ("PanelSharp" or the "Software"). By installing or using PanelSharp, or by buying PanelSharp Pro, you agree to these terms.

1. License to use

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PanelSharp in your web browser. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or license keys, or modify, reverse engineer or circumvent its licensing, except where applicable law expressly permits it. Third-party components (such as the waifu2x models and ONNX Runtime Web) are provided under their own open-source licenses, which are included with the extension.

2. Free version

During early access, all features including AI are unlimited and free. When Pro launches, the free version will include the Quick filter without limit and a daily allowance of AI-enhanced pages (30 pages per day). We may change the features of the free version in future updates.

3. PanelSharp Pro (one-time license)

• One-time purchase. Pro is a single payment, not a subscription. It removes the daily AI page limit for as long as we offer the extension, including future updates released for it.
• Activations. Each license key may be active on up to 3 devices or browser installs at the same time. You can free an activation by deactivating the license in the extension on a device you no longer use, or by contacting support.
• License key. Your key is personal. Do not share or publish it. We may disable keys that are shared publicly, obtained fraudulently, or refunded or charged back.
• Verification. Once Pro launches, Pro checks the license with our license server when you activate it and from time to time afterwards, as described in the privacy policy. Pro keeps working offline between checks.

4. Payment and merchant of record

Purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record for PanelSharp Pro orders. Creem handles checkout and payment, calculates and remits applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt and invoice. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's terms of service.

The seller and developer of PanelSharp is SELLER_NAME. Google is not the seller and is not responsible for PanelSharp Pro purchases, support or refunds. The Chrome Web Store is used only to distribute the free extension.

5. Refund policy (14 days)

If PanelSharp Pro does not work for you, email SUPPORT_EMAIL within 14 days of purchase with your order number or the email address used at checkout, and we will issue a full refund. No reason is required. Refunds are processed through Creem to your original payment method; how long it takes to appear depends on your bank. When a refund is issued, the license key is deactivated. After 14 days, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Acceptable use and your content

PanelSharp enhances images that are already displayed in your browser, on your device. It does not host, download, save, or provide access to any content, and it is not affiliated with any website or publisher. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to view and enhance, and for making sure you have the right to access it, for example comics you own, public-domain works, or web comics you are legally permitted to read. Please support creators by reading on official, licensed platforms. You must not use PanelSharp to infringe anyone's rights or to break any law or website terms that apply to you.

7. No warranty

PanelSharp is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that it will work with every website, browser, or device, that results will meet your expectations, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI enhancement depends on your hardware (WebGPU support) and on the source images.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use PanelSharp. Our total liability for any claim relating to PanelSharp is limited to the amount you paid for PanelSharp Pro (or USD 5 if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using PanelSharp at any time by removing it. We may terminate your license if you materially breach these terms (for example by sharing or reselling license keys). Sections 6 to 10 survive termination.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change, and material changes will not apply retroactively to purchases already made. Questions: SUPPORT_EMAIL.
